Broadcasting Stake Conference Overview

Stake conference is a meeting of stake members held to strengthen testimonies, receive instruction, and conduct stake business. Most stakes hold two stake conferences each year under the direction of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

As a Technology Specialist, you support stake leadership by planning, setting up, and operating the technology needed for stake conference. Several weeks before the conference, meet with the stake clerk or a member of the stake presidency to understand their goals for the meeting and identify any technology requirements. Your preparation and support can help reduce stress for stake leaders and contribute to a successful experience for members.

Common technologies used during stake conference include audio and video distribution, digital media devices, webcast equipment, video cameras, and accessibility technologies.
