Activating WAP

To provide a strong internet connection throughout an entire building, install additional Wireless Access Points (APs) to extend the network range. The Meraki MR3(x) is the only Church-authorized AP and can be purchased and installed by the facilities management (FM) group if additional wireless coverage is needed. After an AP is installed and configured, a technology specialist or FM will need to activate the device in Church Network Manager (CNM). Instructions for activating APs are found below:
- Log into Church Network Manager (CNM.ChurchofJesusChrist.org) using any web browser.
- Find the property and firewall for the building you are adding the access point.
- Click MENU in the upper right-hand corner and then select "Add Devices".
3. Enter the Meraki access point serial number in the Serial Number field, add a Label, and click Add Devices. Or click +Add to add more than one access point at the same time.
4. Complete! Contact the GSD if you have problems activating an access point.
