A new training Web site for public affairs councils and their priesthood advisers is now available on lds.org under “Serving in the Church.” In a new video presentation on the site, Elder M. Russell Ballard explains the role of public affairs work in the Church and gives priesthood leaders counsel for organizing and utilizing public affairs councils. The site also contains new guidelines for working with the media and for building positive, trusting relationships with influential community and interfaith leaders. Stake clerks should be certain that stake public affairs directors and assistant directors are listed in the Member and Leader Services (MLS) software to enable them to access password-protected content on the site. Priesthood leaders should review the new site and encourage public affairs directors to study and follow the guidance given there.
My question: I am a stake clerk, I did update our MLS stake leadership directory to list our member as the stake public affairs director...however, she reports she is unable to access the website materials.
Did I miss something, or is she perhaps doing something incorrectly?
thanks
