Welcome Letter for New Technology Specialists
This letter is sent to all newly called Technology Specialists and outlines the resources available to support them in learning and fulfilling their responsibilities.
We congratulate you on your new calling as a Technology Specialist for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Regardless of whether you were called by your Stake President, District President, or by your Bishop, we are so grateful
for your willingness to serve. This is an important calling that can significantly bless the lives of leaders and members in
your local units. The Church's Help Center contains help documents for Church applications and technology.
The section on the Help Center called "My Calling as a Technology Specialist" and “Meetinghouse Technology Training,” will
be most valuable to you as a new Technology Specialist. These articles contain important information about where to find
support for your calling. These articles can be found by clicking on the menu icon and selecting Meetinghouse Technology.
For technical issues that arise in your meetinghouses, most can be resolved by using the information in the Help Center.
However, there will be times when you need technical ‘How-To” information, which can be found on the Tech Wiki.
If you are unable to find the information you need in the Tech Wiki, come out to the Tech Forum. This is a community of
Tech Specialists who support one another with answers to unique or challenging issues posted by other Tech Specialists.
