For those who have an older piece of hardware such as a VHS or DVD recorder, be sure to check the clock on the equipment to insure that it's correct.
Prior to the governments DST change, today would have been the day that the time would advance ahead one hour. If you DO have old equipment I would recommend that you disable the DST function and just remember to set the clock manually.
Otherwise, if you're planning on recording something - like conference - you may be an hour off.

DVD recorders may well have a firmware update. VCR users are just out of luck.

While the MS patch will fix DST issues with a computer, the issue I'm seeing is with a Sony DVD recorder. We use it at the stake center to record broadcasts. The hardware is a few years old, but still works perfectly. However, this morning we almost missed the 1st session of conference today until we observed the recorder had already started going an hour early. We caught the problem, popped in a fresh DVD, and reset the clock.
So I figured I'd pass along the problem in case someone else may have older equipment that cannot be updated.
