Sacrament Agendas

I wrote the first version of this app a dozen years ago while I was bishop. What it does:

Subject: KeepTheMinutes — simple, organized minutes for your ward meetings

Keeping accurate minutes for ward council, PEC, elders quorum, and other meetings takes time — and finding previous speakers or a past decision later can be harder than recording it. I'd like to introduce you to KeepTheMinutes, a free, easy-to-use web app built specifically for managing church meeting minutes. I wrote this application originally in 2013 when I was serving as bishop. I used it not just for ward meetings, but also as a planning/collaboration tool for large events—Halloween parties, Christmas programs, Independence Day celebrations, etc.

What it is: KeepTheMinutes is an online tool where your ward's leaders and clerks can collaborate to write up meetings, add musical numbers, keep them organized by date, and retrieve them instantly — all in one secure place, accessible from any computer, tablet, or phone. Refer to the agenda on your mobile device while conducting. Or export the agenda as a formatted Word document to make changes, print, or distribute to ward members.

Key features:
Meeting minutes made simple — record date, time, and a written recap for each meeting, with built-in search so past decisions are easy to find.
Template library — pre-built templates for common meetings (ward council, PEC, and more) so minutes are consistent every time.
Word document export — turn any meeting into a cleanly formatted Word document for archiving or sharing.
Photos and documents — attach supporting files to any meeting; they stay private and are accessible only to ward members.
Ward member management — add members by email and invite them in; each person gets their own login, and you control who can create or edit.
Your own ward space — each ward (or stake) creates its own organization, keeping your records separate and secure.
Options for your ward:
Invite leaders to log in—counselors, music personnel, auxiliary leaders, etc.
Set who has permission to edit meetings or administer the ward space.
Create recurring meeting series to generate minutes faster. Generate a full year’s calendar full of meetings from a template, blank for you to fill in as the year progresses.
Adjust how many meetings display per screen to fit your preferences.
