Counting Sacrament Attendance
I'm curious as to how other clerks count Sacrament attendance. I know that many clerks walk down the aisle to count, but I have always thought this was a little distracting, so I count from the back. I realize that I may miss some, so I usually add a few to the final number. Any thoughts on this?

Re: Counting Sacrament Attendance
I'd stand in back and count. I'd count one side, check the foyers and then count from the other side to check my number. I tried to know the families well enough so I knew how many were in the family. That way I'd catch the ones under the bench or below eye level. That worked pretty well and I didn't feel the need to artificially inflate the number. I might add if I knew someone was walking the halls or I had reasonable idea they were there, but not present when I made my count. I'd also add to it later, if I saw someone come in really late.
