I have a unit that has trouble logging into LCR, but once they were logged in, it would not let them access the finances. They kept getting,
HTTP header is longer than 10240 bytes. This is on a windows system. Would the same issue happen if it was converted to a note pad platform?

Sounds like a browser cookie build-up problem to me.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
