I am the stake history specialist and also bishopric second counselor. I was editing a unit history entry that was created by our ward clerk, but when I saved it, the unit history tool rebranded the entry as stake, not ward, history! I want to report this issue as a technology bug, but I don't know for sure where to do it. Does anyone know?
I did submit the problem as a "Feedback" item (as seen at the bottom of the church webpages), but I don't know if that will go anywhere.
Where do I report issues with the church website?

That is the main official way - feedback is read and forwarded to the proper organization to review. However, there is no guarantee the feedback will be implemented immediately based on the priorities given to the developers. The other official way is to ask your stake president to bring the issue up in his coordinating council with the general authority assigned to your area (if he feels it is important enough).

If you have multiple callings, it is important to make sure the correct calling is selected when performing activities. It sounds like the system had you identified under your stake calling instead of the ward calling when you made the change. I don't have access to the system, but other systems have a button to select the calling you are working under.MikeClark wrote: Wed Jul 02, 2025 11:13 am I am the stake history specialist and also bishopric second counselor.

That Feedback item I submitted did get responded to, and they said they would give the issue to the developers for a fix. So that Feedback link is apparently the way to do it.

You can submit the feedback directly inside leader and clerk resources, since those reports go to the product team that owns the tool. You can also reach out to https://tech.churchofjesuschrist.org/wi ... y:Websites

The Unit History tool does not require access to it through LCR. Going into LCR just to use the feedback support found in LCR > Help > Contact Us is unnecessary and extra steps. This would be a problem for the unit history specialist since they do not have access to LCR if they don't have access to LCR from another calling. Feedback using any Church website webpage that contains the Feedback link in the footer is routed appropriately. In addition to filling out the feedback description, completing the feedback survey as well as copying and pasting the URL of the page the issue was found on goes a long way to getting the issue routed appropriately.RajShekhar wrote: Fri Dec 19, 2025 12:33 pm You can submit the feedback directly inside leader and clerk resources, since those reports go to the product team that owns the tool.
The Wiki page linked to, in of itself, is not a means of submitting feedback for Church website webpages. It, however, does have the commonly found Feedback link in the page footer. Going to the Wiki to submit feedback would be an extra step when most Church webpages have the link. The Unit History tool webpage contains the ubiquitous Feedback link in the footer.RajShekhar wrote: Fri Dec 19, 2025 12:33 pm You can also reach out to https://tech.churchofjesuschrist.org/wi ... y:Websites
