Check number

Issue:
We attempted to print 4 checks in succession.
When printing 4 checks, the order was disrupted because the printer required flipping the checks and rotating 180. After printing the first check and confirming it was correct (when it wasn't), checks 2 and 3 printed fine. However, the 4th check required skipping a check number since the first check had already used that number. Now, each time you print a check, the system prompts for the skipped check number, disrupting the sequence.

Question:
How can I void a check that was never issued?

The description of events is confusing. If you answered the screen prompt asking if the first check printed correctly by clicking the "Yes" button then that check number should be in the system and can be voided. But it appears the real issue is that the check numbers printed on the following two checks do not agree with the pre-printed check numbers. Did you verify the batch check number printed below the pre-printed check number agreed with the pre-printed check number for each check?

'Print' a check with the skipped number (i.e. create the PDF but you don't need to actually try to print the check on the printer). Then answer 'No' that the check did not print correctly. Then also answer No when it asks if the check is still usable. That will mark the check number of invalid for future use. I don't think it won't actually show up as a voided check but it won't try to use that number again.
