Calendar Weekly View

Hi, I was just called as a building scheduler. I was an asst stake clerk and TS for 11 years and set up and managed the calendar as part of that, but it's been a number of years and I see some things have changed. The weekly view just shows an entry when the event starts, as opposed to the block of time that is reserved like it used to along with every other calendar I've ever used. Am I missing something? I don't see any settings for that. This seems useless, and makes it more difficult to find available times.
