Calendar Sync on Tools

Tools Version 5.1.0 (9472) on iPhone 15 with iOS 18.1.

When viewing the Calendar in Tools, I do not see changes I have made to calendars on the Church Website, over 10 hours previous. I can do a standard "sync" or a "data refresh" and the updated information is not visible in Tools on my iPhone. I can even delete the app, shut down the iPhone, restart it and reinstall the app from the App Store with the same non sync results. The odd thing is if I create a URL subscription of that same calendar and then subscribe to it with say Google or iCloud, I can see the updates.

Any suggestions? I would very much like to use the calendaring features provided since they are integrated with the Tools App for iOS and Android and everyone already has that app installed but I need to have current data available for it be useful to the Bishops and Stake Council of our Stake.

My experience is that the calendar in member tools often takes several days to update and it also does not always show all the events on a busy day. Plus other than your own ward and the stake events, other ward's events, even if in your building, will not show on the member app calendar.

This would be a question for the tools/sync people. All I can suggest is use feedback in the app, or since you have an employee badge, see if you can make friends with the developers.

I have no idea why it should take so long to go from one app to the other. Since you're posing on a Monday, perhaps the server only works weekdays?
