It happens every Sunday because the church isn't investing in the network/server infrastructure to support the tools they expect us to use and the servers get overloaded. I attend a ward in Georgia and we meet at noon eastern. The system becomes largely unusable for us around 12:30 eastern. I attend Sacrament meeting only to take the Sacrament and then I go to the clerk's office as soon as the priesthood is released to record any updates. It took me almost the entirety of our Sacrament meeting yesterday to update callings because I kept getting errors logging in.

There have been numerous times when we have not been able to input tithing on a Sunday. On many Sundays it will take us over an hour to input just a few donations. We have had to manually write out checks for people because we couldn't access LCR to print checks out (if you've ever had to do that you know it turns a process that takes just a few minutes from start to finish into a process that takes about 20 minutes because you have to call church headquarters the next day and go over the details).

My recommendation is to use the feedback form on the site. I've submitted feedback multiple times and I get a response that they are aware of the issue and they close out the ticket but I'm hoping the volume of complaints might spurn them into action. I'm going to contact our stake clerk this week and ask him to survey the other wards in our stake on LCR satisfaction. However, most wards in our stake don't share a building so I think they meet earlier in the day. We share the stake building with another ward that meets in the morning; however, next year we'll swap times.
