Data not updating from LCR

Our Stake changed some boundaries this past weekend and added a new Ward. My own Ward lost 107 families and added members from two other Wards. As soon as we moved families out and did a Sync, the families were gone form our Tools app. However, all of the new families are not populating into our Tools app. Multiple people on multiple different devices have tried Syncing, closing the app, reopening, deleting the app and re-adding and signing in again, signing out and signing in, and still nothing. All of the changes were done by about 6PM Sunday evening but as of this morning (Tuesday) we still have nothing.

It is like all of the families that were moved out of 6 wards in the shuffle are in limbo.

Any idea on how long this should take? We have leaders that are trying to make plans, new callings, etc.

It usually takes a few days after the stake notifies the Church that the change has been made and the new bishop(s) sustained. It is a two-part process. Once the basic unit structure is set, the membership records are able to transfer into their new units.

In theory, it could all happen in two days, one for the unit structure to be updated by Church headquarters on Monday, effective in the system by Tuesday, and then one for the membership records to transfer overnight Tuesday and be in place on Wednesday.

Records for the existing units should transfer overnight. The new unit will take a little longer to get records, since the unit itself has to be set up once the stake notifies the Church that the change has been made.

And after all that happens, Member Tools usually updates overnight. So the soonest you should see incoming records there would be Wednesday.

For the new Ward, I could see that but for our ward, we were already established and are just getting new folks. All of the Ward Clerks have moved the people "out" to the other wards and they show in LCR but are just not updating in Tools.
