Member preferred name change

Member preferred name change

There is a member of our branch who was recently sealed to her husband. Her name has been changed to reflect the new last name and she shows up in the same household of her husband. However, in any reports that are run she still shows up with her maiden name. I am presuming that is because under her preferred name it still shows her maiden name. How do we go about cleaning that up to reflect her new last name across all accounts? We have tried editing her preferred name, but it doesn’t give her the option on her end and in LCR it won’t let me edit that section for her. Thanks for any help.

Check her full name. That will likely have to be edited by a clerk.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Only the Branch President and Clerks can edit that in LCR. Have one of them do it and it should fix it.
