Familysearch premium content on meeting house Liahona

On January 20, 2023, the church announced changes to family history centers, including the following note : "Although the name of these centers will change, the same free services will be available at FamilySearch centers as were available before the name change. Guests can bring laptops or Chromebooks and utilize the free premium sites not just at FamilySearch centers, but also at any Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church building worldwide." So far, this has not happened in our stake. This last week I followed family search instructions, and added the google chrome extension that the church offers to allow access to these premium familysearch websites over a church Liahona wifi system. But it did not work. I asked familysearch support for help, and they replied that the stake technology specialist would have to contact church tech support to solve the issue. Is anyone else having this problem, and have they found a solution that will allow people to access the familysearch center portal, premium content websites at any church chapel that has the Liahona wifi network?

It worked fine for me. I have seen a delay in getting the extension to work. It may take several seconds before it figures things out and the icon turns green (I recommend pinning the extension icon so you can see it's status.)

My understanding is that the extension needs to talk to the building firewall in order to work. If for any reason you've got some other router in the system, that may cause the extension to fail.

Hello

Is there a way to log in via an Apple iOS device? Or is there only a premium extension for Apple OSX devices (and Microsoft devices)?

I don't think Android and iOS browsers support extensions like the laptop versions do.
