RS Pres embarassed that she can't hide ages when showing members how to use tools
As an aging RS president, I keep forgetting that everybody's age shows super prominently on my member tools app, and I often open it in front of other people, usually to show them how to see their ministering list, and it shows a giant 57 or whatever next to their name and that's sooooooo embarassing. RS President does need the birthday superpower (and also the member ID superpower if she is to help with temple and family history work, and also the ordinances superpower if she is to know who to encourage in the next step on the covenant path, but I suppose those aren't exactly tech issues), but needs to be able to view member tools the regular way, without showing anything confidential or embarassing.

I'd use the feedback function in the app to get the request to the developers.
I agree it would be nice to see Tools the same way members do and then press something to invoke superpowers. So many times people come in here wondering why someone else can't see what they can and it's because of their calling.

I had a teacher in high school who used to say "I hear, I forget; I see, I remember; I do, I understand."
Instead of showing them how to do it on your device, walk them through how to do it on their device.

Similar to a stake clerk trying to train ward clerks using his LCR account. It just doesn't look the same. Better to ask a ward clerk to login to LCR when training the other ward clerks.

Walking them through on their own phone is a fantastic idea, those that can log in to their lds account. Would that they all could.
Would that I could remember to keep my Tools close to my body while doing ministering interviews -- got to peek at who they minister to, but if they glance at my phone, there's their age right up there next to their name.
Thanks for the advice!
