Can't send email through lds tools app lists

Having a hard tome figuring out how to send email to people on the lists I've reacted. The previous secretary said she would click the upper left button and there would be options or send text or send email. But when I do it, I only have option of send text. Thanks for your help.

Do you have an email account set up in the Apple Mail app on your device? Member Tools uses the default mail app (before iOS 14, this is hard-coded to Apple Mail) to send emails.
Also, do you have an email address on your own profile in Member Tools?

I am having the same problem. I have a default mail app as well as an email in tools. I am running ios14.

I fixed this problem for iPhone going to settings for "Mail" -> Accounts -> Gmail -> turning on "Mail". I believe LDS Tools defaults to Mail and if that is not available it deletes the option to send emails.
