I'd like to suggest that more info be put into the referrals in the referral manager so those that receive them can see where the referral came from. Was it from a visit to Teme Square? Was it a self request on Mormon.org? Self-referral? Via missionary chat? Another member referred?
It would be more effective, I think, if missionaries could call and say "I understand that you recently visited Temple Square...".
The one I saw today had only "referred by Sister Johnson"... Who the heck is Sister Johnson? Is she a member of my ward? A missionary? A member of another unit?
Anyway I'm thinking the more (meta)data the easier it is for the missionaries to reach out.

Re: Referral manager: show where referral came from
I agree with the above comments. We are a senior couple on the Navajo Reservation. This contact's address is 50 minutes away from us so our first attempts were by phone call and text, with no response. We drove out with the young elders but the address provided is a mailbox location, no one seems to know exactly where he lives. If we had more info on who provided the referral we may be able to make contact with them to find him. At this point all we can do is to keep contacting them by phone call or text and hope for a response.

Would also like to add that we were never told about this in the MTC. Would recommend that a short training would be helpful.

FYI, the Tech Forum primarily serves as a location for user-to-user discussion and self-help. There is no direct connection between Forum posts and any Church IT personnel.paulbondjr wrote: Fri Apr 04, 2025 3:10 pm Would also like to add that we were never told about this in the MTC. The standard suggestion is to submit your thoughts via the Feedback functionality, which is available from inside Church apps, as well as via a link at the bottom of most Church webpages. It does not matter what tool you use to submit the Feedback, just make sure you fully describe your situation so it is clear to the Church development team.
For missionary-specific items, I don't know if there are any better methods for submitting this type of feedback. Perhaps the tech specialist for your Mission will have more information regarding this, or perhaps other Forum members have awareness of whether the Feedback tool is the best option.
