Highlight multiple parts as one marking - New feature request

So, I have a new feature request. Let me give you a scenario:

I'd like to be able to go through a handful of verses and highlight a few words from each of them without it having to be "separate" highlights...just one highlight but broken up into multiple smaller markings. Does that make sense?
