Share map feature "Map" does not start correctly.

WiFi house network to a Clear wireless internet connection.
Browser - Firefox 10

Testing the "Share map" feature I sent myself a copy of a map. When I opened the URL it opened my browser and loaded the map fairly quickly. However the left pane did not bring up anything. The "wait" icon continues to run, the pane can be closed and opened and the app buttons at the bottom of the pane work.
At this point I have Not Signed in.
Once you click on the "Home" app it fills the left pane with what I assume should have been loading which is the app titles, and you can proceed to use the program.

All the bottom Icons seem to work fine. The only problem appears to be that the Left pane does not load automatically with the Home page. It does do as soon as I log in or if entering "Maps" from LDS.org when already Logged in.
