RL500 firmware update

RL500 firmware update

Hello, has anyone attempted to update the RL500 camera to new firmware to support NDI HX3 protocols? It currently supports HX2, but I would like to reduce my latency to the minimum with HX3. Thanks.

Yes, I contacted ClearTouch and obtained the latest firmware update (October 2026), but when installed on all my RL500s, it still reports NDI HX2. But I found this to be an updateable text field, and likely does not reflect that the camera supports HX3.

I cannot determine if it actually supports HX3. however, in my experience, the latest version does seem to address latency quite well, to under what I can discern visually. Wish I had a more scientific answer for you.
