This may be dependent on Android version. I'd expect the app to be dependent on the OS to report the usable screen size.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

You could also check if you're on the beta version of the app. The current beta of Member Tools is a major rewrite, from what I understand, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are still bugs being worked out (if you're on the beta, it would probably be helpful to send feedback through the app to let the Member Tools team know).

I am on the beta releases, which is why I provided feedback from the app as soon as I noticed my problem with the new interface. My problem was fixed within a few weeks. NEED:
DYNAMIC LDS CALENDAR for Deacons, Teachers, Priests, Builders, Messangers, Gatherers, Relief Society, Elders, Primary, and ward council that can be selected or deselected based on calling.
DETAILS:
Based on your calling and current standing, you should have access to these calendars (I imagine a checkbox that you can toggle on or off at your leisure). The calendar would then be able to sync to Google Calendar or another calendar of your choice.
BACKGROUND:
I’ve been in YM leadership for years now and communication is always a hassle. This is something that should provide an easy win for all members across the globe. Spare us any more headache please.

The church calendar webpage will allow local units to create as many calendars as needed. Members can select what calendars they see.
The calendar will show up in Member Tools as well as having links to sync to personal calendars (Android, Google calendar, iOS, Outlook, etc.)
