Free Ward Signup Tool (no ads) – Simple alternative to SignUpGenius with generous free limits

Hello!

As a secretary in a prison ministry branch, I got frustrated with SignUpGenius, the ads, privacy questions, and extra clutter just didn't feel right for Church use.

So I built wardsignup.com a dead-simple event signup tool made specifically for wards and branches.

How it works:

• Create an event in under a minute (name, description, time slots with optional capacity limits)
  
  • Share one link or send personalized email invites
  • Members click the link, pick a slot, and type their name, no account or login required
  • You get a live real-time dashboard showing who's signed up, remaining spots, and slots that auto-close when full
  I’ve already added useful LDS templates:
  
  • Missionary dinners / calendar
  • Tithing declaration appointments
  • Easy full-event reschedule
  • Plus lots of UX polish from early feedback
  It’s in early beta and always free for basic use with these generous limits (per organizer):
