Local - Youth Camp Registration contribution limits

We've been excited to have the new donation category for "Local - Youth Camp Registration" but keep running into questions from members who can't submit payments due to the maximum donation threshold.

Four of my own kids are going to camp this summer so the amount easily exceeds $150. Has anyone discovered a way to adjust this limit so I and other members don't need to submit multiple payments?

I've tried looking at Ward and Stake finance configurations but haven't been able to find anything.

I'd be surprised if local units had any way to affect that limit. My guess is that on the Church side, their initial programming might just be according to a single-attendee limit, and not accounting for the 'multiple children going to camp' scenario. I'm also interested if the $150 limit is documented anywhere?

I've never seen any documentation beyond the error message at the bottom of the donation screen stating that the limit of $150 has been exceeded. Last year that error message wasn't present and we determined the same limit by trial and error.
