Gospel Living App Language Issue
My gospel living app shows all the menus in Spanish but the content is in English. How do I get them both in English.

Re: Gospel Living App Language Issue
I'm not seeing any language settings in Gospel Living. The only places I can think of that it would be getting it from is the phone's settings, or from the Notification Language on your account profile (https://account.churchofjesuschrist.org/)
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Re: Gospel Living App Language Issue
The language of UI elements (buttons, menus, titles, etc.) in most Church apps is based on your Android or iOS device language settings.
For iOS, check in Settings > General > Language & Region. For Android, this setting is in different places depending on the Android version and device manufacturer, but usually there's a search button at the top of Settings, where you can search for "Language."
If you have multiple languages enabled in your device language settings, you can also set a preferred language for a specific app. In Android or iOS settings, go to the "Apps" section, and scroll down in the alphabetical list to "Gospel Library" or "Library."
If you're on Android 15 – for a little while, there was a bug in Android 15 where strings randomly displayed in the wrong language. This has been fixed, but you'll want to make sure you're running the latest version of Android that your phone supports. You can check for Android updates in Settings > Software update, or Settings > System > Software update.

Re: Gospel Living App Language Issue
I just got a new iPhone and now when I try to switch the language for any given hymn it just stays blank. Please bring back the ease of switching language in the music app itself. Switching the language in the app’s settings is inefficient as hymns do not have the same numbers nor are all hymns translated. I love singing hymns in my native language although I live in the US. In order to do so I now have to switch language in my settings and also google the corresponding title and number in German. Not very reverent in a meeting. Thank you.

Yvonne, just for awareness, the Tech Forum is not connected to the Church Support system, we're all regular church members like yourself, so nobody here can make any changes. That said, there's a lot of experienced Forum members who can help diagnose potential workarounds or solutions.yvonne.penrod wrote: Sun Jul 27, 2025 12:51 pm I just got a new iPhone and now when I try to switch the language for any given hymn it just stays blank. From your post, my understanding is you're referring to the Gospel Library app, and not the Gospel Living app. If that's the case, I regularly use the language-switching feature in Gospel Library for hymns (my calling sends me to English or Spanish-language sacrament meetings on different Sundays), and it currently works for me on my android phone.
I would expect this also works for iPhone users. Could you share the type of phone and the version of IOS you are using? And what version of the Gospel Library app you are using? Maybe other Forum members can then share additional ideas.
