I am in the beta test for Gospel Library on my iPad.
I have seen this in the release notes the last few times. What is "Live Highlighting" using the Apple Pencil?
Thanks!

Re: Apple Pencil "Live Highlighting" in Beta test
"Live highlighting" just means that the highlight will be created immediately as you draw along a line of text with Apple Pencil (or a similar stylus that pairs with your iPad via bluetooth, like Apple Pencil). The regular two-step process for creating a highlight is selecting some text, then tapping Mark. Live highlighting creates the highlight in a single step as the text is being selected (no need to tap Mark).

Re: Apple Pencil "Live Highlighting" in Beta test
"Live Highlighting" seems to be active in the release version of the Gospel Library on my iPad. This is a very frustrating "feature" because there are many times that I want to copy text or define a word or select a portion of a section that has already been marked. Live Highlighting piles up the annotations or marks text I don't want marked. Can we at least have an option to turn this off in settings?
