I just want to quickly check if anyone reading this has had a similar experience and can help.
I'm putting together list of all YSA's in the stake, and I used the "create a report" in LCR to make a custom list with columns for each of the address data.
For some unknown reason, around 50 of the nearly 700 YSAs have address data that doesn't show up. For the life of me I can't figure out why.
For each of these, the address data exists, and it has nothing to do with whether or not the person has set their address as private (two of them are active children in a bishop's household).
I was able to cross-reference and get the info from the b-day report, but it was very time consuming.
Does anyone have any clue as to what might be causing this?

Re: Address data not always showing in custom report
I'm not sure about now, but there used to be two address fields: physical (the normal one) and mailing (not frequently used).
Any chance it has something to do with that? Or, perhaps there's something in the address format that might make the system think it's invalid?
And while it shouldn't be a factor, could it be the address hasn't been confirmed on the map?

Re: Address data not always showing in custom report
I saw this just last week in my own ward.
For the households I saw this on if i went to a household member, the address showed up but if I clicked on the pencil icon to edit the record the address was not present.
In my case there weren't too many so I copied the address info clicked to edit and reentered the address which corrected the missing info on the report.

There are 11 types of people. Those who understand Gray Code and those that don't.

Sounds like something that should be reported to GSD.

You seem to be on to something there, but unfortunately, I'm not able to make corrections (I'm a stake clerk). I'll have to check with my ward's membership clerk on Sunday.kd7mha wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 1:46 pm I saw this just last week in my own ward.

In the meantime, I submitted a GSD ticket, and I'll report back if anything gets fixed.
By the way, I created a report on every head of household in the stake and was able to only list those whose Address - Street 1 field had no value (even though the data is in there somewhere), and there are 157 out of 2073 households with this problem. Interestingly, the State and Country data shows, but nothing else.

That report was helpful. I was able to find the problem and we are working on a fix for the problem. Taking the data from the formatted address and putting it back into the address parts does fix the problem.greggo wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 3:29 pmYou seem to be on to something there, but unfortunately, I'm not able to make corrections (I'm a stake clerk).
