Can't search forum?

Can't search forum?
When I try to search using the magnifying glass at the top of the page (in the header) I get a message saying I'm not authorized to use the search function. How else am I supposed to find things? This is a bug, right?

Are you logged in at the time? The only time I've seen that, I wasn't logged in.
By logged in, I mean that the forum software displays your name near the top right corner. The church header and the forum aren't always in sync.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
