Widows and widowers report

I've looked on the site for this info, but the only thing i can find is from 2012 and the links are broken but..

How can i make a report in LCR identifying the widows and widowers in the ward? Any help would be appreciated.

You will have to create a custom report. Go to LCR > Reports > Create Report. For the filter use Marriage Status | Is | Widowed. Use any further customization as needed for the display of member data for the columns.

However, only certain calling have access to custom reports. Check the LCR Access Table.

Oddly, it appears the membership clerk doesn't have access, but most of the rest of the extended bishopric does.

I've created a report of "Marriage status" "is" "widowed" and no one shows up in the report and I know for sure we have at least one widow.

Widowed does not work for me either, nor does divorced. The other marriage categories do create a custom report, but those two do not. Suggest you report the problem as feedback.

Out of curiosity, when you check the marital status for the member in question, what does it show?

Same problem here. I want to find all widows / widowers in the stake but marriage status is widowed returns zero results. When checking a known widow her husbands name is listed with (deceased) next to it, but I can't see any specific marriage status field.
