Also - I will add that two other apps make sense as well. Gospel Library (which may be a bit tougher to port to this new platform), and also Family Tree. I can't imagine a scenario where LDSTools would be practical on the big screen.

I bought my apple tv 4 generation last December., I was very disappointed that the AP for Mormon Channel is not available yet on Apple TV., I am also looking forward to BYU TV which I understand is on the ROKU DEVICE.,

I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING CONFERENCE ON MY BIG TV, I ONLY HAVE SATELITTE TV HERE IN CANADA, AND IF I HAD BYU TV IT WOULD BE AWESOME.,

I would've purchased a Roku, personally that way a person wouldn't be disappointed like this :

I just discovered last night that there is now a BYUTV app for Apple TV. Granted it's not the Mormon Channel, but it's something.

Isn't everything in the Mormon Channel app on the Church's YouTube channel?

We have gotten quite hooked on being able to rely on the Mormon Channel App on Sundays to stream Sunday appropriate music (not to mention other days as well).

It would be so nice to just tap the app on AppleTV and be ready to go.
