Exporting Membership Report To Excel
I have never made entry in a forum before, but am desperate and have wasted enough time with no net gain. I need to export a membership report or two to Excel. I get it into Adobe Acrobat Pro and convert to an Excel spreadsheet. However, the data is organized in such a way that it can't be easily used without a good about of time. Does anyone know how. All my attempts have been in LCR. Is it possible to do in MIS? Please someone help this desperate and frustrated membership clerk Deep in the Heart of Texas.

The export function has been removed. It is believed (but I don't know for certain) that this was done because of privacy laws around the world. At this point, you will always have trouble with any method you devise, including the one it appears you attempted based on the post right before yours.stevekrum wrote:However, the data is organized in such a way that it can't be easily used without a good about of time.
My suggestion is to carefully evaluate with your priesthood leaders what you are trying to accomplish using an export, and to determine if there is a valid need for the information in that format, or if there is another way for your leaders to come to an understanding of the information they seek as they minister to the members.
If the priesthood department at headquarters thought we needed to be able to export, there would still be an export function. Those decisions are carefully made at a very high level for a reason.
