Upcoming Regional Broadcast - Sat. and Internet Feed URL

On September 14th, 2014 there's a regional broadcast (I believe sourced out of Utah County). I "assume" our Satellite will automatically receive the broadcast but what is the stream.lds.org URL for the broadcast?

Your STS should have the necessary information, by now. I don't have that information to hand at the moment, but he can check.

I am the STS and I haven't received that information (nor have I ever received it previously until I post on this forum)...

You might want to check with your stake president to see if he received notice. Otherwise I'd call broadcast support.

I'm not sure how far in advance they know the URL. The 14ths is still a ways away.

It's in the Official Communications Library dated 7th August 2014 CES Church Devotional for Young Adults September 2014. I think I also received it from another source, can't remember whether it was my Bishop, or Senior Missionary.

Because I have 2 callings (STS & Ward Clerk) I have access, but I don't know whether either/both give you access.

I believe the original poster is asking about a multi-stake conference broadcast, not the CES devotional; though they are both on the same day.

My stake is part of (what I assume is) the same multi-stake conference, which will be broadcast from the BYU Marriott Center. Luckily for us, we're assigned to go to the Marriott Center so we don't have to worry about receiving a broadcast.

Your stake president should have received notice of the Utah regional stake conference broadcast. If he did, your satellite should already be programmed to receive the conference.

Normally there is a URL as well, and a member of your stake presidency can request it for you. It is usually available the week prior to the conference, based on my past experience.

In October 2012 we had a member of our stake presidency email StreamingSupport requesting the streaming URL. (The domain is @ldschurch.og ... put "streamingsupport" and "@ldschurch.org" together for the email address )

It took them less than an hour to respond (it was a Friday) and the request was done 9 days in advance of the broadcast.

Since it is now 2 years later, I'm not sure if the process is still the same.

I also have not received and official communication about this event. I assume everything will just stream through the Satellite as usual. Faith

You might ask. It could just show up if it showed up last time. But there was a time when stake conference broadcasts only showed up on the stake center satellite system. The stake president had to ask that it be sent to other buildings in the stake.
