	The Meraki ~~MR3x~~ wireless access point is a device that ~~extends~~ the ~~range of a~~ wireless network. In large meetinghouses, ~~a single Access Point is often not strong enough to provide internet access throughout the entire building. Additional~~ Wireless Access Points (WAPs) are necessary ~~for maintaining meetinghouse network needs~~.		The Meraki MR36 wireless access point is a device that broadcasts the wireless network and makes Wi-Fi possible in meetinghouses. In large meetinghouses, multiple Wireless Access Points (WAPs) are necessary to ensure sufficient coverage.

			A consistent networking experience requires at least the following:

	~~Facility management groups (FMGs) decide when~~ to ~~purchase~~ and where to ~~install WAPs based on~~ the ~~budgets~~ and ~~needs of local units~~.		# The right number of wireless access points to cover the entire building, wherever members and friends will meet to learn the Gospel. The recommended target signal strength for a meetinghouse is -67 dBm, not to go below -70 dBm. This applies to all areas of the building where members and friends will be accessing the internet for Church purposes.
			# Proper installation to ensure the signals are broadcasting in the right directions and are free from impediments such as lead pipes and HVAC venting.

	MR3(x)s do not come with an AC power supply. FMGs should NOT order a power injector for each MR3(x) they purchase if they are not connecting the WAP into a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch. A PoE switch can also be used in place of one or more power injectors. The Meraki MS120-8FP and MS120-24P switches are PoE devices that can power the Meraki WAPs.

			Work with your Facility Management Group (FMG), to ensure you have enough devices, and that they are installed correctly.

			MR3(x)s do not come with an AC power supply but receive electricity via Power over Ethernet (PoE) supplied by the Meraki switch. FMGs should NOT order a power injector for an access point that is plugged into a Meraki switch. The Meraki MS120 and MS130 series switches are PoE devices that can power the Meraki WAPs.
