The Church News recently published two articles that mention the usage of Meetinghouse Webcast:
§“Asian saints taught by Elder Nelson”
oMore than 400 adults from the Jakarta district attended a conference, with another 230 in six chapels elsewhere in Indonesia joining by webcast.
o675 members of the Singapore Stake went to the stake center, joined by 65 more saints from the Ipoh Malaysia District participating by webcast.
o“[Speaking of Meetinghouse Webcast] Elder Victor Kah-Keng Chen, an Area Seventy from Singapore, commented, ‘What a choice blessing it was for the saints of the Singapore Stake and Ipoh Malaysia to have the opportunity of listening to the counsel of Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve. The saints were not only edified by his counsels but they also received an apostolic blessing pronounced by Elder Nelson.’”
§“Elder Oaks visit Asia accompanied by Elder Hallstrom and Bishop Burton”
oOn Saturday, May 22, a priesthood leadership conference held in Bangkok was simultaneously webcast to Malaysia, Mongolia and Singapore. Nearly 100 priesthood leaders were in attendance, including stake presidencies and bishops, district presidencies and nearby branch presidents, and mission presidencies.
oOn Monday, Elder and Sister Hallstrom met with missionaries from the Thailand Bangkok Mission, some in person and all others by webcast to meetinghouses throughout the nation.
