I upgraded to macOS 26 and now I cannot get an internet connection on the Liahona network. I have tried at two different buildings. I am wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing.
I am on Liahona and I have an IP address. In the past when the guest wireless terms page would not come up I would manually browse to http://captive.apple.com or http://guestwirelesstermsofuse.churchofjesuschrist.org and it would bring up the page so I could agree to the terms and get out of the captive portal. That does not seem to work anymore on macOS 26.
host guestwirelesstermsofuse.churchofjesuschrist.org
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached
I hope it is just me, but wanted to check with others.

Re: macOS 26 and Liahona
I figured it out this afternoon. I feel very unintelligent right now. At some point I set Google's 8.8.8.8 as my DNS on my Wi-Fi interface. Removing that setting returned the ability to get the captive portal and agree to the terms. The mods can delete this if they want.

That makes sense. The DNS has to be set to get it from the network. Good info.
