Contact a ward in another state

I’m wanting to reach out to a Ward in another state to share information on an inactive member that is wanting to come back. I don’t want the member to know I’m reaching out on their behalf.
How do I know which Ward is the correct ward when 3 English wards are listed in Saginaw Texas?
Thanks, Beth Murray Santa Fe Stake New Mexico

You'd need a better location then just the city. Then you can look it up on maps.churchofjesuschrist.org.

Sometimes missionary contact can be another option for inactive members with desires to return. The Tools app has the "introduce friends to the missionaries" feature which can be used for this purpose as well. And if you're old-school, if you provide the contact info to your local missionaries, they are always happy to get in touch with the missionaries in other places and ask them to stop by. I expect they would be willing to simply say they received the member's contact info, without needing to say where it came from. Contacting the new ward is still a good idea, since they will want to help coordinate the missionary outreach and follow-up through the ward mission leader.

Each circumstance is unique of course, but especially for members who are converts, or perhaps served a mission themselves, their relationship with missionaries can be a powerful motivator. Just something to keep in mind.
