Is it possible to print wirelessly from iPhones, laptops, etc. to the Xerox VersaLink B605? I'm trying to find the best solution for wards in a building to print temple recommends, etc. Currently the B605 is not hard wired or wirelessly connected to the network in the building. I would need some instruction on how to do that if possible. Thank you for your guidance!

If the Xerox VersaLink B605 has wireless capability, which I believe it does, then your Stake Technology Specialist can assist in adding the printer to the No Splash Group Policy in CNM. Reach out to your Stake TS for assistance with the network and printer setup.

From what I was told before, NoSplash is only required if the device needs to initiate a connection to the Internet. It shouldn't be needed if all communication is strictly local.

We have this type of printer but the FM Group did not order the wireless module to go with it, and the ward has decided not to order it, either.

My experience is that when the printer is also wanting to be wireless on the network (not hardwired via ethernet), then NoSplash is needed to make it visible on the network.
mprusse stated that the printer "is not hard wired or wirelessly connected to the network", so he would need to figure this out first. Ideally, if possible, it will be hardwired to the network, then other wireless devices on the network can find it and print to it without needing to add the printer to NoSplash. If a cable needs to be run for it, the FM group typically will do this for you.

Hi Mike- I am reaching out to you via e-mail to see if I can help get that building (assuming it is the Timberline building) library copy machine wired into the network. Not sure if they dropped a data connection into the library or not there, if they did not, I can do so when I install the additional APs.
