We have a smaller YW and have only 2 YW classes. As a consequence the age ranges for the classes are 12-15 and 16-18 (or something like this). In LCR we still have 3 classes and simply keep one empty. How do I adjust the callings so that there are only 2 classes?
Thanks!

Re: Adjust age range for YW/YM classes
The best way is if the classes are readjusted to reflect what's going on. I'm not sure who can do that, but the clerk certainly can.
I'm not seeing any pre-set age ranges in the Handbook, so this should be possible. In LCR, it's possible to split groups and combine groups, but not do both. So you couldn't split the middle group and combine the halves with the other groups. You may have to reset the age groups to default to "get there from here".

Re: Adjust age range for YW/YM classes
The Young Women Presidency, including secretary, have the permissions to do that.russellhltn wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 12:09 pm The best way is if the classes are readjusted to reflect what's going on. I'm not sure who can do that, but the clerk certainly can.
Just as russellhltn noted the classes must be adjusted. The only tools are to split or to combine. Since you didn't mention what the age ranges are for the current classes in LCR, I cannot give specific instructions. Assuming the extra class in LCR is the middle class then I would start there. Before you begin any class adjustments, take note of the current class presidencies by name, individual calling sustained dates, and whether they have been set apart. Do this also for all adult callings.ianyounger wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 8:31 am In LCR we still have 3 classes and simply keep one empty. Select the Young Women organization with no filters applied. Click the Organize Young Women Classes button in the Callings tab. Assuming the middle class is the one not being used, click the edit icon (pencil icon) and select the " Create new classes with different ages" option. Then select the age range for the first split out in the "Select ..." drop-down list-box. Do this until the original default classes are split out. Now you can go combine these split out classes with the other two classes as needed using the edit feature for those two classes and the "Combine with Young Women [age range]" option.
The final steps are to make sure the remaining two classes are properly organized, class presidents called with their sustained dates, class membership checked, other callings checked, and adult leadership callings checked.
