Discussions about the Notes and Journal tool on LDS.org. This includes the Study Toolbar as well as the scriptures and other content on LDS.org that is integrated with Notes and Journal.

Is there such a feature? Expo
Could there be?
CSV would be awesome - reference, marking type, notes, tags

:) I don't think they have that feature but Also agree EXPORT/IMPORT of notes and tags would be a gamechanger!

I loved browsing my grandpa's scriptures as a kid and remember being amazed at all the insights it had.

It would be wonderful if I could drop a file to friends to demonstrate my scripture-study methods.
Or... more likely... actually Learn how to do it right

Not sure what format it would be, but CSV would make things Super easy.

Good ideas like these should be submitted via the Feedback tool available at the bottom of most Church webpages, as well as inside the Church apps. Sharing thoughts here can often lead to other Forum members sharing ideas for workarounds (or perhaps pointing out existing ways to do what we're asking about), but that won't get the Feedback into the Church's system.

You can download your annotations from Notes.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. However, importing isn't an option, and the downloaded format isn't guaranteed to remain the same over time.

For the use case of accessing a deceased family member's annotations, see "Can I access notes created by a deceased family member?" in the Gospel Library FAQ:
