I have a member family that has the wife listed as the head of household instead of the active priesthood holding brother. How do I switch the head of household to the brother instead of the wife?

I would check the marriage information to make sure they're really linked to each other.

I'd then separate him out into his own household and then add her to his household. Make sure she gets added as a "spouse" and not "other" (child).

I split the households as you suggested and then recombined them. thank you

I have a wife who was a member who is the head of household then her husband got baptized but the records show him as just a member of the household but I need to show him as the head of household but it will not let me add the marriage as it says the marriage already exists. How do I make the husband the head of household?

Contact GSD. There seems to be a problem updating everything when a non-member spouse gets baptized. The system fails to combine the non-member spouse with the newly baptized member.

If it correctly converted her spouse's record to a member (rather than the spouse still showing as a non-member) then you can move him out to his own household and then move everyone else into his household. The current LCR processes doesn't change head of household all the time. We are hoping in the future that there would be a way to tell a household to recalculate based on who's there.
