Impossible to order anything from the online store outside of US

I've added items (temple garments) to my cart (I'm logged in), and when I go to checkout, it won't use my account's addresses, instead it forces me to enter a US address, including state and zip code, and the country dropdown is locked into "USA".

Also, can I please get a job at GSC and be put in charge of replacing this hot pile of garbage with a proper e-commerce solution? It's absolutely embarrassing that this is what we have to deal with, especially new members who are directed to order their new temple clothing and are faced with these tech challenges. It's literally stopping people receiving their saving ordinances. We have to do better than that, we can't keep taking technology lightly.

Let's please tone down the impolite language. Some of the other moderators might consider your post to violate the Code of Conduct.

There might be shipping restrictions for temple garments in cases where customs officials could open and "inspect" packages. That might explain the address difficulties. I'm pretty sure the online store has customer service contact information (email address and/or phone number) readily available, but I don't have the exact information handy.

There's a slight chance that clearing your browser's cache and deleting relevant cookies might help, because there's a known problem with build-up of cookie data that can cause strange symptoms. Also, please make sure your Membership Record Number is attached to your account, because otherwise ordering temple garments won't be possible.

The restriction to US seems a bit strange. Are your records still in the US, or by chance have you arranged to pay tithing from US banks?

I find it hard to believe that there's no service for members outside of the US, but there may be boundaries set for individual members.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I ordered some tops just a few months ago mostly without any issue (they cancelled my bottoms order without telling me). Nothing has changed in my account, I still live at the same address, have the same calling etc.

When going to the store, I notice that the icon usually used for language covers both country and language. I'd make sure the correct country is selected.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Click on the upper right corner of the screen, and change your country portal to the country you would like to ship to.
I would guess there's a possibility that the "country portal" (whatever and wherever that is) might have been incorrectly changed by some database maintenance operation. However, that's just a guess, and I don't know where to go to look for that setting.

For finding customer support, I found this page that has lots of links and an email address toward the bottom of the page: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/too ... s?lang=eng A customer support agent should probably be able to answer questions and resolve problems more quickly and accurately.

You know, that might be the "country portal" mentioned in that FAQ entry I posted just a bit ago.

Thanks for your assistance. The country portal is definitely set to Australia now, after I reset the cookies.
However... The page completely freezes when I select my address in the first checkout step.

I need to buy garments for me and my husband. It's unbelievable that you should have to beg to buy your clothing. I can only get really large sizes and now in the summer I can't wear skirts or dresses without a pantyhose otherwise my underwear slips down. How humiliating is that? My husband's clothing is old and full of holes. I've complained several times, but the answers we get from the folks in Buenos Aires are polite but not helpful at all. The salespeople who work at the distribution center in Córdoba aren´t even helpful or polite. They might sell a pair or two, if they're in the mood. Besides, their opening hours are so impractical for working members. I'm beyond annoyed and frustrated. Red tape for sacred clothing, that is outrageous!
