I'm in the bishopric of a student ward and I'd like to access the ward webpage (LDS.org) of my student ward in addition to my home ward webpage, mainly so I have constant access to a current, electronic ward directory. Does anyone know if there is some way to do that?

Sure. If your student ward is in the same stake, you already have access.
If your student ward is in a different stake, ask that stake web site administrator to add you as a Non-Resident Member of that stake, assigning you to the ward in which you serve in the bishopric. He will need your membership number to do it.
After they do that, when you log in to LUWS, you will land at your student ward, and have access to everything in the student stake.
You will also still have access to your home ward and stake, but you will have to rumage around to get there. When you do, bookmark it so you can login and go directly there in the future.
The best way to get there is to look at the URL of your student ward. Change the five- or six-digit number just before the ,00.html to be your home ward unit number and go there.
Voila. Don't forget the bookmark.
