Sacrament Broadcasting Website

Please take a look and ask me questions on this website that allows a member request to a bishop to watch sacrament meeting with a reason on why.

A technology specialist to add the next weeks broadcast.
To add the YouTube embed link into the site

A social media specialist to add the sacrament program

A bishop to see a report of requests to allow or deny the requests

A ward or stake clerk to see a report of who watched, how many and who might need the sacrament at home to give the Bishop this report.

Is there a "demo" unit (with fake data) available to see what the bishopric and clerk features look like?

1. Click on the Magna Utah Stake
2. Click on the Magna Ward
3. I setup the Bishopric Area, Clerk Reports and Social Media Specialists with the following same credentials for this test ward:

Username: magna.ward
Password: abc123

Try adding a broadcast, adding a sample embed YouTube link to the YouTube section, try signing in as a member of the ward with any email address, and fill in the request to watch the broadcast that you added prior in the Bishopric area. Then go back to the Bishopric area and grant access, then go back to the user "Sacrament Meeting" section and see if you can see your "Embed" link for YouTube if that makes sense?

Then try adding in a sample program from the social media specialist area, then go back to the "Sacrament Meeting" typing in the exact same email address that was granted, and now you will see the program! Make sure the program was added for the same date as the broadcast and make sure that date is the date you are doing the test on or you wont see anything.

Hope that helps. Please send feedback... I so want to make this system better.

Simon :)

I think I must be doing something wrong. The sample program created isn't showing when I check in the requests section. Perhaps I created it too far into the future.

Yeah I believe it must also match the exact date of the broadcast, which will show on that date you put in. So try making a broadcast for today, put the program for today and see what happpens.

Thank you for testing the site. It has a lot of work yet to do and a lot of niggles to fix like adding a Christmas program for example. When you choose testimony as ‘yes’ the speakers will not show empty spaces, and it should look perfect in the format of a testimony meeting.

Let us all know your findings. :)
