I was sent an email starting the my password had been changed and to contact this site if I did not in fact change it. I did not change my password. Please advise.

I'd ignore it. Someone is probably mistaken about their username.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

It is possible someone changed your password. Try logging into your account. If your password is no accepted then your password has been changed. You can go through account recovery to change your password to something you know. If your password was changed by someone other than you, you should make sure that your email is secure. You can recover your password by going to https://account.churchofjesuschrist.org/recovery
