When or wars clerk sends out the announcements for Sunday they are always empty when I receive them in my email account. My wife gets valid attachments and apparently other members get valid attachments.
If I forward the attachments from my wife's account to mine they come through but when they come from the church's system they are empty.
My only guess is that there is something wrong with the churches email system.
I don't want to change my email account so I can receive valid emails from the church just for the Sunday announcements. How can this be fixed?

Re: Email attachments are empty
A member of our bishopric was having problems with his US Cellular email address. Near as I can guess, US Cellular uses Yahoo for their email and Yahoo apparently does not like the spoofed email address method the church uses for the send a message function (spoofing email addresses is a common hacker technique, though in and of itself is not bad). He would get the emails, but none of the attachments came through. When he changed to a gmail email address, his problems stopped.
This may not be your problem, but it could be. If your wife uses a different email provider than you do, I recommend you check with your email provider to see if they are blocking attachments from spoofed addresses. If they are and refuse to change, your likely only option to fix it is to change email providers. Or (as a workaround) your wife could forward them to you each time so you get the attachments.
