How do I delete search history?

In Gospel Library (5.0) for iOS, you can delete an entry from search history by swiping on the row from right to left. In Gospel Library (4.4) for Android, the only way to clear search history is by deleting and reinstalling the app.

On Android you can delete too
If you have root and know what you are doing you can delete the search.db from the /data/data/org.lds.ldssa/database

Why has "swiping from right to left" stopped working in the Gospel App (version 6.11) for iOS to remove previous search items?

For my search history I clicked on the search bar and when the past suggestions popped up I clicked and held on each one until a delete prompt showed up. Hope this helps!
