Some 500,000 Scouts and leaders will get together on Amateur Radio waves and Internet during the 51st Jamboree On The Air and 12th Jamboree On The Internet this Saturday and Sunday (18-19 Oct 2008). The LDS Church has always been a strong supporter of the Scouting program and many LDS Scouts will participate in JOTA this year (particularly on Saturday) speaking with other Scouts in foreign lands, strengthening relationships and creating lasting bonds.
