I actually like the idea of beta versions being available consistently. Gives you a place to play and learn without messing with the release version.

That's an interesting idea. In that case, it would be good if they updated the "rc" sites with the shipping version after it ships.
I'd just hope that someone doesn't accidentally wind up on a beta site who wasn't looking for it.
