I know that www.moregoodfoundation.org, which is independent of the church, manages www.mormonwiki.com

Does anyone know if church members or employees are currently policing the information about the church put in wikipedia.org ?

Based on my readings of the Wikipedia pages, there are some brave souls that try to keep those articles neutral. Most of the articles are locked / disputed / POV. You can see some of the IP's that edit come from the LDS.org block.

My take was that the WP articles are bit of a snake pit, and you would have to be pretty resolute to wade into that mess. The articles in general seem to be balanced, but there are a lot of VERY opinionated people there.

So in short, the articles are much too balanced to have no member involvement, but also too balanced to indicate a heavy member presence.
